Wawa Breaks Ground in Sussex County!

It’s official… Wawa is coming to Sussex County! 

Join us as we congratulate our friends at Wawa for their groundbreaking event, held last week in Frankford, NJ! The energy was at an all-time high as Wawa employees, charitable partners, town officials and townspeople celebrated this monumental addition. With plans to open in Summer 2022, this Wawa location is already making a name for itself. Not only does this Frankford location set record as the first-ever Wawa in Sussex County but, it now also holds the title as the northernmost Wawa along the East Coast. Although this will be the first Wawa in Sussex County, it most certainly will not be the last! Wawa officials also announced their plan to open even more locations in Sussex County within the next two years.

Wawa has been a proud partner of Children’s Specialized Hospital for 12 years and has raised more than $1,00,000 to support our patients and initiatives. We look forward to celebrating Wawa’s many wins as they continue their expansion in the New Jersey area! Congratulations to all!
