Hip, Hip, Hooray! It’s Wawa Day!
On Thursday, April 14, Wawa celebrated its 58th anniversary in the convenience retail industry. Stores all across the country brightened the days of associates, customers and the community with Free Coffee at all 960 locations chainwide. This year on Wawa Day, Wawa released a new flavored lemonade, The Day Brightener. During the first week of its release, donations from the drink will be directed to CMN Hospitals.
Since day one the convenience retailer set out to serve its community and they’re doing just that by providing patients of CMN Hospitals with gift cards to provide food and fuel relief, but they didn’t stop there! From now until May 29, customers have the chance to donate their change through round up at the register or by placing coins in canisters at the checkout to benefit their local CMN Hospital.
Staff from Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger were out and about thanking stores for their commitment to local kids and celebrating their 58th anniversary!
