How Does Wawa Brighten Your Day?

Wawa is looking for stories that capture the special connections between associates and customers.

For every story submitted, they’ll make a $50 donation, up to $50,000, to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, plus recognize 10 of the Best Stories on Wawa Day this April 13 to inspire positivity and kindness in our community!

When Wawa opened its doors on April 16, 1964, Founder Grahame Wood imagined a place that would provide trusted quality products, convenience, and care to local friends and neighbors and 59 years later, Wawa associates are proud to carry out this vision of being “Day Brighteners,” as they Fulfill Lives in our community each and every day! Such examples include: A local store throwing a birthday party for a beloved customer to an associate bringing a customer their favorite soup while hospitalized. (Yes, both have happened!)

Stories will be accepted from through Friday, March 10, and ten of the best stories, one per region, will be selected and celebrated on Wawa Day, April 13th at an in-store celebration with a special video release on social media and beyond to inspire positivity and kindness in our community!
